Icona Art's owner and founder is artist Natalia Martinez, a New Mexico–born Hispanic creative with a B.A. in Art History and Museum Conservation from New Mexico State University. Her work is deeply rooted in her cultural upbringing, drawing inspiration from traditional retablos. Known as small Spanish folk paintings created to bring the sacred into the home and nurture personal devotion.
